Melvitto is a Nigerian multi-talented artist in the United Kingdom, recently engaged in a public spat with Afrobeats sensation Oxlade over releasing a new tune. Melvitto has released a new EP named ‘Overdose,’ which includes the single ‘Folasade,’ which features Oxlade. The song’s appearance on the CD has sparked debate because it appears Oxlade and his crew did not vet the tune.
In response to a Twitter user who asked if Oxlade had cleared the music, Melvin admitted that it was inserted without his knowledge or approval. Melvin explained that he chose revenge for his decision to make another video for ‘Wait For You without his permission. Melvitto indicated that he plans to re-release the EP on Spotify after eliminating ‘Folasade,’ the subject of the copyright infringement accusation.
