Thomas Tuchel to replace Diego Simeon at Atletico
According to rumours in Spain, Thomas Tuchel is Atletico Madrid’s top pick to replace Diego Simeone as manager, who is now under a great deal of pressure.
Despite the fact that Simeone is the highest-paid coach in the world, his team is now suffering in fifth place in LaLiga and came last in the group they played in for the Champions League.
And it was stated by a Spanish news site called Fichajes that the Spanish giants believe the former manager of Chelsea, Tuchel, would be the ideal candidate to revitalise the struggling squad.
Tuchel is now without a club after he was fired as the manager of the London club at the beginning of September due to bad performance and results.
There have been rumours that the German may take over as manager of the England national team after Gareth Southgate, who is now in charge of the Three Lions as they prepare to compete in the 2022 World Cup hosted in the Arab country of Qatar.

In recent comments, Tuchel said, “I liked every day at Chelsea.” It ended far too quickly for my liking, but there was nothing I could do about it. This is also what you agree to when you join.’
Spanish outlet Fichajes also claims that the club is considering Mauricio Pochettino, who has managed both Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain, as a backup choice in the event that their pursuit of Tuchel is unsuccessful.
Current Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo had originally considered Luis Enrique for the job, but Enrique has now taken himself out of the running because he wants to recover after guiding Spain at the World Cup.
