Bad news as half of Chelsea’s squad is injured including Sterling after loss to Man City

Sterling

In the first few minutes of Chelsea’s match against Manchester City, Pierre-Emerick Aubamayang came on for Raheem Sterling as a substitute.  After colliding with John Stones, the winger, who was 28 years old at the time, fell to the ground with a scowl on his face.

Since Graham Potter took over as manager of the Blues, he has made 14 appearances for the club, during which time he has directly contributed to five goals. Despite the fact that the west Londoners have struggled to find the back of the net, Sterling has established himself as an essential component of the team.

Since making the move from Mancity to Chelsea last summer, the England international has done very well to avoid getting injured. But sadly for him right now, he has joined his teammates on the injury train. This is a setback for the whole team.

In addition to Sterling, the following players are now out due to injuries:  Ben Chilwell, N’Golo Kante, Edouard Mendy, Reece James, Wesley Fofana, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, and Armando Broja. However, Raheem Sterling isn’t the only Chelsea player who got injured recently as some of the club’s youngsters also suffered injuries.
