Britain’s control of the Gulf was ended with secret deals which were revealed in a joint BBC news in Arabic and Persian documentary.

The documentary titled “secret and deals” contains how Britain left Iran to control a then-controversial island. The documentary also includes an eyewitness account of a coup which was organised by Britain. In 1967, there was a six days war between Israel and Arabs, it is believed that Britain helped Israel win the war over their Arab neighbours. This period (1967 – 1968) was a time of crisis for Britain because of its economy. The Israeli take control of Jerusalem, Sinai peninsular, Gaza, West Bank and Golan heights.
