Robbie Coltrane ‘the Scottish actor who played the beloved half-giant Hagrid in the Harry Potter films is dead. His agent made a comment that he died on Friday aged 72.

His is born on 30th March in the year 1950 in Rutherglen, South Lanarkshire. Anthony Robert made a change to his professional name as a homage to celebrated Jazz musician “John Coltrane”. Robbie Coltrane was a gifted actor and a star of Britain’s 1980 comedy boom playing a part in TV roles including frequent appearances in ” the comic strip presents”.
