Supta releases new EP
Siyabulela “Supta” Sithole a South African artist has been working in the music business as a DJ and producer for the last six years. Although his entry into the industry has been a slow and steady process, he is now prepared to make a splash with his first EP.
On a number of smash hits, he has contributed his talents with well-known artists including Prince Kaybee, Lady Zamar , Ndlovukazi, NaakMusiQ, and DJ Tira.
The singer, who has been well-known as a radio presenter for the last 13 years, has forged his own route in the world of music, releasing songs such as “Indoda Emadodeni” in April and “Ntinga Ntaka,” which is the Xhosa translation of “Soar, eagle. Soar,” in August.
In an interview with TshisaLIVE, Supta said that the path leading up to the release of the project wasn’t that easy and he was even scared. The process of putting together the EP and listening to the message of the song both contributed to his increased self-assurance.

“When it came to this EP, there was a significant amount of fear in me, i was also worried about it as it wasn’t easy for me for long.
“I reached a moment where I thought I was prepared to fly like an eagle, moving to a new area and level musically,” she added. I had both courage and self-assurance. Long-term, putting together a collection of work and distributing it,” he stated.
He dominates the Afro-tech and Afro-house genres because of his unrelenting dedication to creating music that is both relaxing and intimate.
“Various degrees of trust is necessary for both myself and the work that I do.” I’ve always been interested in music that sends a message or speaks to a certain aspect of one’s life, whether it’s in a relationship, at work, or in the day-to-day motivation that a person needs. A message meant for me is really important to me.
Supta wanted to highlight Mzansi’s hidden potential, so to do that he purposely chose upcoming artists such as Thalitha and Thabia.
“South Africa has a lot of potentials; it’s simply a question of locating it and working with the right people. Quality music will always be recognised for its own merits, regardless of who makes it. Whether it’s the name or the power.”
He has intentions to show his gratitude to those who have shown support for him in Aliwal North by organising a homecoming celebration, during which he would contribute some part of the proceeds to charity organisations located in the surrounding communities.
He’s also got another project brewing and is in the studio putting together his first album, set to be released in the year 2023.
