Patience Ozokwo, a veteran Nollywood actress, is celebrating her birthday today. To mark the occasion, the seasoned actress posted adorable images of herself while revealing the various lessons life taught her. Patience Ozokwo stated that getting older has taught her that life isn’t about how you look or what you own but about the person you’ve become and the people you’ve blessed.

It was reported that Nollywood actor Alex Ekubo received accolades from his fans for paying tribute to legendary actress Patience Ozokwo. Alex Ekubo is presently filming a movie outside Nigeria alongside Mercy Macjoe, Patience Ozokwo, and others. The light-skinned actor was seen in a video released on his Instagram page with dancer Korra Obidi, who looks to be filming a movie with the top actors.

A short clip shows Alex paying tribute to Mama G, as she is affectionately known. Alex bowed and heartily greeted the veteran upon seeing her. This deed gained him praise from his few supporters.

Patience Ozokwor, born September 14, 1958, is a Nigerian veteran musician, fashion designer, gospel vocalist, and actress. At the 10th Africa Movie Academy Awards, Patience Ozokwor was named Best Supporting Actress in 2012 and 2013. In several of her films, she is noted for playing a wicked lady. Patience Ozokwor was also named one of the top 100 Nigerians honoured by the government in 2014 to commemorate the union of the northern and southern protectorates.

Before becoming an actor, Patience Ozokwor worked as an announcer and broadcaster on Radio Nigeria. She rose to prominence after appearing in the 1999 film Authority, and her debut TV drama, Someone Cares, aired on Nigerian television (NTA). She has appeared in over 100 films since her ascent to popularity.

She recently played Madam Pat in Mo Abudu’s Netflix films Chief Daddy (2018) and Chief Daddy 2: Going for Broke (2022). She married young and lost her husband to a serious illness. She is the mother of three biological children, seven adoptive children, and seven grandkids. She has also been ordained as an evangelist.
