On Friday, Eurovision commentator Graham Norton on The One Show made a grand announcement shedding light on the programme that had not only purported Liverpool been successful, but he revealed that the date of the finals has also been confirmed.

The Scottish first minister shared her commiserations for Glasgow on Twitter, nevertheless celebration galore as those people rooting for Liverpool celebrated the development.

The leader of Glasgow council ‘Susan Aitken’ tweeted on Twitter. She said congratulations to Liverpool, a great city. She said she is so proud of the Glasgow team who brainstormed a bid to get to the final two. She ended that, they will be cheering Liverpool for a successful Eurovision with the people of Ukraine.

Eurovision 2022 was won by Kalush Orchestra, he said they were pleased with the result of the BBC.

The group said that even though they haven’t got the chance of visiting yet, he said the musical culture of the city is known vastly. The group continued that they are sad the 20223 competition will not be held on their land nevertheless, they said they know the people of Liverpool will be warm hosts. They are quite envisaging that the organisers add a real Ukrainian flavour to the 2023 Eurovision
