Meet the latest big brother Naija’s housemates, Modella and Deji.
Africa’s biggest television show, Big brother Naija has been spiced up with two additional housemates, Modella and Deji. The new housemates were added, during the Sunday evening live show, on 31st July 2022. Deji, who disclosed that he is in a complicated relationship hails from Lagos state and stated that his physical features will charm fellow housemates and fans to him. The newly added housemate also noted that he loves partying and is a ladies’ man.

Modella and Deji
Following Deji’s entry, was a thrilling music performance, from one of Nigeria’s finest entertainers, Bella Shmurda. Deji was however escorted into the level 1 room. Modella was thereafter introduced, after the musician’s performance. Modella, who featured in Kayode Peters ‘Crazy Grannies made a magnificent entry into the show amongst cheers from the live show audience.
Modella, a YouTuber and actress who hails from Osun state described herself to be a ‘content queen’ and promised to bring lots of drama to the show. She however added to the number of housemates, in the level two room.
Modella and Deji – The big brother twist
Big brother has however come up with a new twist, just like he has always done in previous seasons. And here’s the twist. “Modella and Deji are Fake housemates”, but the other 24 housemates aren’t aware of this. Before the 7 pm live show began, Big brother fully called “Biggie ” issued a strike to an erring housemate, Beauty who indicted a fellow housemate, Ilebaye, during their argument on Sunday.
Assembling the level two housemates, in the lounge, Biggie stated that Beauty and Ilebaye flouted a rule of the game. He noted that they encroached on their boundaries during the altercation, where Beauty pulled off Ilebaye’s wig. He then issued Beauty a strike, while giving a final warning to Ilebaye. The rule of the game states that a housemate risks disqualification when he or she is issued a strike three times.
The Big brother Naija, season 7 named “Level up” graced the television screens on Saturday 23rd July, with 12 housemates. Another 12 housemates were added on Sunday evening, 24th July during the evening live show at 7, making it a total of 24 housemates. The newly added fake housemates, Deji and Modella, now bring the number to 26.
The housemates are competing for 100 million total worth of prices, with Ebuka Obi Uchendu, retaining his position as the show’s host.
