Kylian Mbappe will travel to Madrid on Wednesday according to rumours, barely months after agreeing to a new contract for £650,000 per week with Paris Saint-Germain.

According to reports, the French international, Kylian Mbappe will visit the Spanish city with three colleagues, including Sergio Ramos, after declining a summer transfer to the Spanish powerhouses.

Kylian Mbappe To Join Sergio Ramos Las Ventas

However, according to Spanish radio station COPE, the 23-year-old will travel there to be a VIP guest of honour at a bullfight and not to talk about his footballing future. The player has openly criticized PSG boss Christophe Galtier’s methods in the first few weeks of the season.

Ramos, who enjoys watching bullfights, as well as the goalkeepers Gianluigi Donnarumma and Keylor Navas, will also join them at Madrid’s renowned Las Ventas bullring for an event that will clash with the National Day of Spain, which is celebrated every year on October 12 and is more commonly known in Spanish as the Dia de la Hispanidad.

Alejandro Talavante, a friend of Ramos, will perform at the customary celebration on Wednesday at 7 o’clock. After their team’s Champions League encounter against Benfica, the PSG players are rumoured to be planning a day of trip to Madrid.

Last week, the Portuguese team held PSG to a 1-1 tie in their own stadium. According to COPE, footballers Dani Ceballos and Nacho Fernandez from Real Madrid will also be there.

Sergio Ramos is a well-known bullfighting enthusiast who is rumoured to have convinced Kylian Mbappe to join him in Las Ventas. Last month, he welcomed his matador friend Alejandro Talavante to his country residence in Spain and former Real Madrid goalie Keylor Navas.

The group took a private jet to Badajoz and met defender Nacho at the residence in the neighbouring town of Olivenza. The news that Kylian Mbappe will soon visit Madrid comes at the same time as shocking rumours that he already wants to quit PSG because he feels “betrayed” by the club’s owners.

In a drawn-out transfer dispute this summer, the star striker decided to remain at PSG rather than switch to La Liga, earning him enemies at Real Madrid.

The club’s supporters charged that by accepting his lucrative new deal, he had broken his pledge to join them and put his financial interests ahead of those of his career. The Frenchman has not yet issued an official statement regarding his alleged trip to Spain.
