Coach of the Belgium National team Roberto Martinez announced the 26 players who will be on Belgium’s World Cup team that will be heading to Qatar. A large number of them play in the top clubs of the English Premier League. Belgium will start their World Cup run in Group F on November 23 against fellow group f teams such as Canada, Morocco, and Croatia.

Belgium International and Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku have been picked by the national head coach for Belgium’s 26-man World Cup team, even though it’s not clear if he will be healthy enough to play. Some people didn’t agree with Roberto Martinez’s choice of Lukaku.

Since the start of the season, the striker has been hurt. He is now on loan from Chelsea to Inter Milan. Since August, Lukaku has only played in two games for the Serie A club because he hurt his hamstring. He also hurt his thigh earlier in the season, which has also kept him out of action.

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez said in an earlier statement that he would only pick Lukaku if he would be able to play in at least one of the group-stage games. After the news came out, Martinez said: “Medically, it is clear that he is not fully fit and we all know that, but the last three days have been very good. We will all help Lukaku to be healthy and fit as he tries to do so.

“We expect that he will be able to play in at least one of the three group stage games as of right now. We have to make a choice by November 22, but we will keep thinking about everything and make sure things goes well.

“We don’t have many situations like this, and we want him to make the biggest contribution he can in the world cup.”

Even though he has spent most of the season on the bench for Real Madrid, Eden Hazard was also picked. He has also not played in La Liga since September because his manager, Carlo Ancelotti, no longer likes him.
