Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia defines scholarship as a form of financial aid awarded to students to further their education. It’s either because they lack financial capacity or they show great academic prowess. As a result of this, the awardees must have attained some standards such as academic merit, diversity and inclusion, athletic school and financial need to be able to qualify for a scholarship.
Different colleges and universities give financial aid awards to undergraduate and postgraduate students to help them further their education. It might happen that the money is given to the students directly as a cheque or it is paid to the school.
Scholarships can be in the form of a full scholarship where everything is paid for by the awardee or it is a part scholarship whereby part of the education expenses is paid for. Just like other international schools, the University of Padua in Italy also gives scholarships to students.
