“Our hearts can’t take it” George Clooney and Amal still write love letters to one another.
George Clooney and Amal: The Story Behind The Perfect Love
The actor recalled how his agent told him he was going to marry the 44-year-old barrister when he met her in 2013. The sixty-one-year-old star was sceptical at first but later moved on with it.
He said while on the Barrymore show;
“Well, it’s funny she came to the house in Como with a friend of hers to visit and immediately I was like… The funniest thing is Bryan Lourd my agent called me, he had just met Amal at some other thing and she was like, ‘Yeah I am going to go to Como with a friend of mine. Then he told me “There’s a girl coming to your house that you are going to marry”.
“I was like you are an idiot. You know that’s not going to happen”. Nevertheless, Amal comes in and we stayed up all night gisting and I started writing her a pile of letters.
George Clooney revealed he meant pen and paper rather than the digital trend. He wed his wife in 3014 thereby proving his agent right.
The man kept writing her letters till he become their culture.
He said;
“Yep, we still write letters. Leave them on the pillow.”
Despite the enjoyment the couple is having, George Clooney insisted they don’t argue. Now, he is not in the best position to give marriage advice.
Clooney said;
Honestly, love letters sound like a great start to us. The star has learned to shift his priority thereby placing his focus on what matters most by looking for what we have in common, not giving a damn about little things.

George Clooney and Amal: George Clooney told E! News;
“Because I started so late, I’m not allowed to give advice to anyone. I have to look at it as if I’m the luckiest human being alive and then just appreciate that”.
Clooney has emphasised his long wait to settle down has helped him look at things differently.

“We agree on most things. When you’re 61, which I am. As you get older, you’re kind of looking at things a little differently” He explained how people worry about things like decorating.
He toll;
“Amal wants to paint the wall yellow. And if I was younger, I feel like that’s a stupid colour. And now you just go, “I don’t care. Who cares if a wall’s yellow?”
