Funke Akindele, a Nollywood actress and politician, became a year older, unlike past years when she celebrated with a birthday shoot featuring her husband, Mr Bello aka JJC Skillz, this year she went alone.
Funke Akindele, a mother of two boys and a Lagos state gubernatorial contender, celebrated her birthday on Instagram with lovely images of herself.
Funke Akindele reassured herself that God would never abandon her. Oluwaseun! OLUFUNKE AKINDELE, happy birthday!! In Jesus’ name, he will never leave you! AMEN! Funke Akindele intimated to her followers that she would turn 45 and was ecstatic with the sensation it provided her.
She wrote, “I will be 45 in a few days!!” Hear,t of gratitude Lord, thank You. A new chapter. Has begun. Mr Bello finally announced their divorce in an early Thursday morning Instagram post, six years after their marriage and countless rumours of separation.
“Dear Friends and family, I need to let you know that Funke and I have split,” the music producer and filmmaker posted on his Instagram page. We shared many things and had two lovely children while it lasted. We have had a difficult two years. I did all I could to fix it, but I feel it is beyond repair.

I moved out of the house three months ago, at Funke Akindele’s request, and have yet to convince Funke Akindele to sit down peacefully to revoke the relationship.
I’m announcing to let everyone know that we’re both living different lives. We still have issues to work out, like the custody and well-being of our children, which is vital, and commercial interests to sort out, but I have no faith that these will be handled one way or the other.
