It was confirmed that the iconic fashion designer “Dame Vivienne Westwood,” died on Thursday evening at the age of 81.

The designer’s representative said; “Vivienne Westwood died peacefully”. Before her death, she was surrounded by her family in Clapham southern London.

Andreas Kronthaler, ‘a creative partner’ and Vivienne’s husband said; “I will continue with Vivienne in my heart. We have been working until the end and she has given me plenty of things to get on with”.

Vivienne Westwood career sailed when she teamed with Malcolm McLaren. Malcolm McLaren became her partner and launched her first fashion collection (Called Pirate). However, Vivienne’s first fashion dress to be shown on screen is called “pirate”. Before the duo separated, they released several fashion collections. Vivienne Westwood had to find her part in success when they separated.
