Blues plan to sign Leipzig attacker Christopher Nkunku

Christopher Nkunku, a striker for RB Leipzig, is ready to talk about joining Chelsea when the winter transfer window opens again in January next year. This season, the French international has been in great shape for the Bundesliga team. In 23 games, he was able to score 17 goals and set up four assists.

Nkunku and Chelsea have already agreed on the personal details of a possible transfer, but it’s still unknown if they could bring him to Stamford by January next year
.
Fabrizio Romano says that the 24-year-old said he would be open to leaving Leipzig in the middle of the season, but that Leipzig will make the final decision.

Nkunku won’t be able to get out of his contract for €60 million until the summer of the next year. Of course, Chelsea will have to pay more if they want to get him faster. After a terrible start to the season, Chelsea needs to add more attackers in January. At the moment they’re performing really poorly bringing them to eighth position in the premier league table.
