Chelsea has achieved a breakthrough in their pursuit of Wesley Fofana, and a contract for the centre-back is expected to be completed soon.
This weekend’s match between the Blues and Leicester City is scheduled, but Fofana won’t play. He was left out of the lineup last weekend against Southampton, and manager Brendan Rodgers said he wouldn’t play against Stamford Bridge either.
