FC Barcelona has already started to think about what will happen after Sergio Busquets leaves. A world-class midfielder, champion and someone who has won all three major titles could join Barca for free.

Even though FC Barcelona did a lot of great recruiting over the summer, it is still a long way from meeting its goals for this season. Barca, who were in first place in the La Liga table, have been humiliated to a new level in the Champions League. Barça was knocked out of the Champions League at the group stage for the second year in a row. After this most recent loss in Europe, the Catalan club wants to sign more players so it can do better in the future. Since Gérard Piqué left, the club needs to find a new central defender more than ever.

In October, the 2010 world champion decided to hang up his boots and stop competing. Sergio Busquets also wants to leave Barcelona at the end of the season. There is a chance that a three-time world champion Ngolo Kante will move to the Catalan club.

Barca could win get Ngolo Kante as a free agent

The Catalan newspaper Sport says that FC Barcelona wants to sign N’Golo Kanté as a replacement for Sergio Busquets in case he leaves the club soon. The current contract for the tall midfielder is set to end at the end of this season. David Beckham runs the Major League Soccer team Inter Miami, so it would be best for him to sign with them.

Barca wants to hire the French world champion, who could possibly leave Chelsea soon. His deal with the Blues will also end in the summer of 2023. Starting in January, the midfielder could talk to any club he wants to move to for free the following summer. After getting Kessie and Christensen for free in the summer, the Blaugranas would want to take advantage of this great chance again.

But the Catalan magazine says that this deal might not go through because of something. This is how the player is fit and ready to play. The France midfielder has only played in two games for his team so far this season because he had surgery on his hamstring. His last match with his club was on August 14 against Tottenham in a Premier League game that ended in a tie (2-2).
