Asake showcased his talent through several freestyle videos on social media. He gained prominence by working with Broda Shaggi in his comedy videos and later featured in the online comedian’s song titled ‘Star.’ He broke out in the industry when he dropped the 2020 single, Lady. Asake rose to stardom interest from Olamide who is one of the biggest artists in the country and was signed to YBNL Records formed by Olamide. Another song that increased his presence was Mr Money.
He released his debut EP, Ololode Asake, which was a commercial success internationally. He is surely one of the bright stars in the Afrofusion music and Street Pop division. He hit the limelight after releasing his popular single – Lady – which received massive responses from several online media and top celebrities. The Nigerian-born Lady crooner had to repost his freestyle from the likes of Sydney Talker, Tunde Ednut, Nasty Blaq, Broda Shaggi, and countless others.
